Are you ready to take your writing to the next level? Do you want to know more about how writers write? Advanced Composition Studies is a new course created to meet the needs of students who are interested in improving both their own writing skills and their understanding of the writing process.
We'll consider the ways in which our understanding of composing has changed over time, and we'll try imagining where composing might be headed in our increasingly technological future.
The course, which can be counted towards requirements for the English major and the Professional Writing Certificate, is ideal for both future teachers or professional writers, as it will offer an in-depth examination of all stages of – and many approaches to – the art of writing.
